VESA adapter for Acer

VESA Adapter for Acer: The Most Important Questions

Do you want to mount your Acer monitor or all-in-one PC on a monitor arm or the wall, but nothing fits on the back? We have the right adapter here for every tested Acer model. Each is built for specific models and clicks into the same spot where the stand normally locks in.

Why does my Acer monitor not have a VESA mount?

Many affordable and slim Acer monitors do not have a VESA mount. Some have two threaded holes on the back for the stand. This is not a VESA hole pattern, and the monitor will not sit securely on a mount with it. The adapter provides it with all four mounting points.

How do I know which adapter my Acer monitor needs?

With Acer, different versions carry the same base number, only the suffix differs, and not every one has the same mount. Therefore, compare the full designation from the type plate with the adapter's model list.

Which adapter fits my model?

The one in whose model list your full model number appears. It is on the type plate on the back. You can see the tested models for every adapter at the top and in the list below, or you can enter your model in the Setup-Finder.

Do I have to drill or glue?

No. The adapter uses the existing mount of the stand: insert, screw on, done. The screws are included.

Does the adapter fit my mount?

Yes, if your mount has the VESA hole pattern of the adapter, 75 × 75 or 100 × 100 mm. This applies to desk arms, wall mounts, and stands of any brand. If your mount needs a larger hole pattern, a VESA adapter plate will bridge the difference.

Does an adapter hold my monitor securely?

Yes. The adapters are made of plastics and metals with high tensile strength that keep their shape for years. The amount of weight supported is determined by the mount: its load capacity must be higher than the weight of your device without the stand.

Can I reattach the stand later?

Yes. Remove the adapter, insert the stand, done. Because nothing is drilled, glued, or opened on the device, it remains in its original condition.

The adapter does not fit into the mount – what should I do?

Compare the full model number from the type plate with the list on the adapter, including the suffix. Similar numbers often have different mounts. Never insert the adapter with force.

The screws do not catch or sit crooked – what should I do?

Use the screws from the adapter bag, not those of the mount, and place them straight. Tighten them by hand first, then crosswise. If a screw does not catch, check if it is too short or is resting on an edge before the thread.

The monitor tilts forward on the mount – what should I do?

Tighten the tilt joint on the head of the mount. It is important that the weight of your device without the stand is within the load capacity of the mount; a heavier device pulls harder on the joint.

The mount does not lie flat against the adapter – what should I do?

Check if the back panel is curved or if cable connections are in the way. Spacers create the necessary clearance.
