Why doesn't my Xiaomi monitor have a VESA mount?

On some Xiaomi monitors, the stand is only attached to the back with two screws; there is no VESA mount. This is exactly where the adapter comes in.

How do I know which adapter my Xiaomi monitor needs?

Without an adapter, these monitors won't fit on an arm or the wall. With it, they get a hole pattern for any VESA mount.

Do I have to drill or glue anything?

No. The adapter goes exactly where the stand would otherwise sit and is attached with the enclosed screws. After about two minutes, everything will be set up on your mount.

Will the adapter fit my mount?

Yes, if your mount has the VESA hole pattern of the adapter, 75 × 75 or 100 × 100 mm. This applies to desk arms, wall mounts, and stands of any brand. If your mount requires a larger hole pattern, a VESA extension can bridge the difference.

Will an adapter hold my monitor securely?

Yes. The adapters are made of plastics and metals with high tensile strength that retain their shape for years. The mount determines how much weight is supported: its load capacity must be higher than the weight of your device without its stand.

Can I reattach the stand later?

Yes. Remove the adapter, insert the stand, and you're done. Because nothing is drilled, glued, or opened on the device, it remains in its original condition.

The adapter doesn't fit into the socket – what should I do?

Compare the full model number from the nameplate with the list on the adapter, including the suffix. Similar numbers often have different sockets. Never force the adapter into place.

The screws won't catch or are sitting crooked – what should I do?

Use the screws from the adapter bag, not the ones from the mount, and position them straight. Tighten them by hand first, then tighten them crosswise. If a screw does not catch, check whether it is too short or is hitting an edge in front of the thread.

The monitor tilts forward on the mount – what should I do?

Tighten the tilt joint on the head of the mount. It is important that the weight of your device without the stand is within the load capacity of the mount; a heavier device pulls harder on the joint.

The mount does not lie flat against the adapter – what should I do?

Check whether the back panel is curved or if cable connections are in the way. Spacers provide the necessary clearance.
