Your setup begins with your monitor.

The setup finder checks your monitors' VESA, weight, and size, as well as your desk – and shows you which mounts are compatible.

Monitor mount for three monitors: the most important questions

With three monitors in a row, your main work is in the center, while everything running on the side remains in view: courses, communication, documentation, or the track in sim racing. A mount brings all three to the same height and in a straight line.

How do I arrange three monitors correctly?

The middle one stands directly in front of you, while the outer ones are angled inward until all three are about the same distance from your eyes. This way, you turn your head instead of your torso.

Can I arrange three monitors stacked?

Yes, as a pyramid: two monitors side-by-side at the bottom, one centered above. This requires less desk width than three in a row. With the 3IDEE® ONE, each monitor sits on its own arm on an extended pole: Configure 3 monitors as a pyramid.

How wide must my desk be for three monitors?

About as wide as the three monitors, including their frames, placed side-by-side, minus the width saved by angling the outer ones. The Setup Finder calculates this using your specific models.

Can I use three different monitors?

Yes, as long as each fits within the weight capacity of its arm. Identical models look more uniform in a row because the frames and screen edges line up.

How do I get rid of the gaps between the monitors?

With mounts that allow the monitors to be shifted laterally: first bring all three to the same height, then push them together starting from the center.

Will my desk hold three monitors on one pole?

Three monitors gather a lot of weight at one point. The tabletop must be stable; for thin surfaces or glass, a desk reinforcement plate should be used.

Does the mount fit my monitor?

If your monitor has a VESA mount and its weight without the stand is under the arm's load capacity, yes. VESA means: four threaded holes in a square on the back, usually 75 × 75 or 100 × 100 mm apart. If they are missing, there are VESA adapters for your model. The fastest way to check is with the Setup Finder: enter your monitor model and see the compatible mount.

Less space? Then monitor mounts for two monitors are the alternative. For more surface area, we offer monitor mounts for four monitors.

The mount wobbles when I type – what should I do?

First, tighten the desk clamp, as it often loosens slightly during the first few days. If that doesn't help, the tabletop is usually too thin or too soft; a reinforcement plate under the clamp will make it more rigid. Also, a fully extended arm will vibrate more than an angled one.
