Why does my ViewSonic monitor not have a VESA mount?

With ViewSonic, it often depends on the specific version: the flat version of a model might have VESA, while the curved one does not. Our adapters are designed for the versions without a mount.

How do I know which adapter my ViewSonic monitor needs?

Compare the full designation from the nameplate; the suffix indicates the specific version.

Which adapter fits my model?

The one that lists your complete model number. You can find this on the nameplate on the back. The tested models are listed at the top of each adapter page and in the list below, or you can enter your model into the Setup Finder.

Do I need to drill or use adhesive?

No. You simply screw the adapter on in place of the stand; mounting hardware is included. You don't need to drill, glue, or open anything on the device.

Will the adapter fit my mount?

Yes, provided your mount supports the VESA hole pattern of the adapter, either 75x75 or 100x100 mm. This applies to desk arms, wall mounts, and stands of any brand. If your mount requires a larger hole pattern, a VESA extension can bridge the difference.

Will an adapter hold my monitor securely?

Yes. The adapters are made of high-tensile plastics and metals that retain their shape for years. The mount determines how much weight is supported: its load capacity must be greater than the weight of your device without its stand.

Can I reattach the stand later?

Yes. Simply remove the adapter and reinsert the stand. Because no drilling, gluing, or opening of the device is required, it remains in its original condition.

The adapter doesn't fit into the mount – what should I do?

Compare the full model number from the nameplate with the list on the adapter page, including the suffix. Similar numbers often have different mounts. Never force the adapter into place.

The screws don't catch or are sitting at an angle – what should I do?

Use the screws provided in the adapter bag, not those from the mount, and insert them straight. Tighten them by hand first, then tighten them crosswise. If a screw doesn't catch, check if it is too short or if it is hitting an edge before reaching the thread.

The monitor tilts forward on the mount – what should I do?

Tighten the tilt joint on the head of the mount. It is important that the weight of your device without the stand is within the mount's load capacity; a heavier device pulls harder on the joint.

The mount does not sit flush against the adapter – what should I do?

Check if the back panel is curved or if cable connections are in the way. Spacers can provide the necessary clearance.
