VESA adapters for Asus: the most important questions
Do you want to mount your Asus monitor on a monitor arm or the wall, but nothing fits on the back? You can find the right adapter for every tested Asus model here. Each one is built for specific models and attaches exactly where the original stand would click in.
Why doesn't my Asus monitor have a VESA mount?
Extra-slim Asus monitors and design models with ring stands do not have a VESA mount. Some gaming models do have one, but it is recessed into the casing, meaning the mounting plate cannot sit flush against it.
How do I know which adapter my Asus monitor needs?
If the threaded holes are missing entirely, the adapter provides the hole pattern. If they are recessed, an adapter or spacers will move the mount outward.
My Asus has a VESA mount, but the bracket doesn't sit flush – why?
Because the hole pattern is recessed into the housing. The bracket plate hits the edge before it can sit flat. Spacers or an adapter move the mount outward.
Which adapter fits my model?
The one where your full model number appears in the list. You can find it on the nameplate on the back. You can see the tested models for each adapter at the top and in the list below, or you can enter your model in the Setup Finder.
Do I need to drill or use adhesive?
No. The adapter goes exactly where the stand would normally sit and is secured using the included screws. Everything will be attached to your mount in about two minutes.
Will the adapter fit my mount?
Yes, as long as your mount uses the adapter's VESA hole pattern of 75 × 75 or 100 × 100 mm. This applies to desk arms, wall mounts, and stands from any brand. If your mount requires a larger hole pattern, a VESA extension can bridge the difference.
Will an adapter hold my monitor securely?
Yes. The adapters are made of high-tensile strength plastics and metals that maintain their shape for years. The weight capacity is determined by your mount: its load capacity must be higher than the weight of your device without its stand.
Can I reattach the stand later?
Yes. Remove the adapter, reinsert the stand, and you're done. Since nothing on the device is drilled, glued, or opened, it remains in its original condition.

The adapter doesn't fit into the mount – what should I do?
Compare the full model number from the nameplate with the list on the adapter, including the suffix. Similar numbers often have different mounts. Never force the adapter into place.
The screws won't catch or are sitting crooked – what should I do?
Use the screws from the adapter bag, not those from the mount, and insert them straight. Tighten them by hand first, then tighten them firmly in a cross pattern. If a screw won't catch, check if it is too short or if it is hitting an edge before reaching the thread.
The monitor tilts forward on the mount – what should I do?
Tighten the tilt joint on the head of the mount. It is important that the weight of your device without the stand is within the load capacity of the mount; a heavier device pulls harder on the joint.
The mount doesn't sit flush against the adapter – what should I do?
Check if the back panel is curved or if cable connections are in the way. Spacers provide the necessary clearance.
