12.2 RIGHT TO OBJECT
IF WE PROCESS YOUR PERSONAL DATA AND WE BELIEVE THAT THERE ARE LEGITIMATE AND IMPERATIVE REASONS FOR DOING SO THAT OVERRIDE
YOUR OWN INTERESTS, YOU MAY OBJECT TO THIS PROCESSING AT ANY TIME FOR REASONS RELATING TO YOUR PARTICULAR SITUATION.
IF YOU EXERCISE THIS RIGHT OF OBJECTION, THE PROCESSING OF THE DATA CONCERNED WILL CEASE IMMEDIATELY. 13) Retention period for personal data
The retention period of personal data is determined by the respective legal basis, the purpose of the processing and - where applicable - additionally by the respective legal retention period (e.g. retention periods under commercial and tax law).
When personal data is processed on the basis of explicit consent in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) RGPD, such data is retained until the data subject revokes his or her consent.
If there are legal retention periods for data that is processed as part of legal or quasi-legal obligations on the basis of Article 6, paragraph 1, point b) RGPD, such data will be systematically deleted afters expiry of the retention periods, insofar as they are no longer necessary for the performance of a contract or the initiation of a contract and/or there is no longer any justified interest on our part in continuing to store them.
Where we process personal data on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) RGPD such data shall be stored until the data subject exercises his or her right to object in accordance with Article 21(1) RGPD, unless unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves to assert, exercise or defend legal claims.
When processing personal data for direct marketing purposes on the basis of Article 6(1)(f) RGPD, such data shall be stored until the data subject exercises his/her right to object in accordance with Article 21(2) RGPD.
