Which VESA pattern does your monitor have?
The hole pattern on the back: four screw holes forming a square or rectangle. Measure from hole centre to hole centre.
- 75 × 75 mm – smaller monitors
- 100 × 100 mm – most common
- 200 × 200 mm and up – large screens and TVs
No holes at all? Then your monitor has no VESA mount. The spec is usually in the manual, too.

Do I need to drill into my desk?
Not for the desk solutions. They attach to the edge of the desk with a clamp or fit into an existing cable grommet — both without drilling. If neither of those options works, a wall mount or a stand are the remaining alternatives.
How do I know if my tabletop can handle it?
You specify the material and thickness, the testing process decides the rest. For glass, reinforcement is always included; for thin or hollow panels, it depends on the weight of your monitors. If it is required, it will appear as a mandatory item in your selection — not as a recommendation that can be overlooked.
My monitor does not have a VESA mount. Is it still possible?
Mostly yes. For many models, there is an adapter that fits this exact housing. It is then listed as a mandatory item and ordered along with it — the mount alone is not sufficient in that case.
My model is not in the list — what now?
Then we will ask you about the back of your monitor: hole spacing, recessed or flat, round or square. This results in the same reliable recommendation as with a saved model. Your information will also be sent to us — this is how your device gets into our database.
Can I add a second monitor later?
Yes, 3IDEE® ONE is modular: the rod and clamp remain, and a second arm is added. The arm is a separate part — it is not already included.
