Terms and conditions for '60-day trial period'

The ‘60-day trial period’ promise is a voluntary service provided by 3IDEE in addition to your statutory rights. These remain unaffected.

This page explains which orders the ‘60-day trial period’ applies to, what you are permitted to do during this period, and how the return process works.

For which orders does '60-day trial period' apply?

‘Test for 60 days in everyday use’ applies to orders in the 3IDEE shop delivered to Germany, Luxembourg, Belgium, and the Netherlands.

It applies to:

  • Monitor mounts for tables and walls
  • all 3IDEE® ONE setups
  • every item you purchase together with a mount — VESA adapter, adapter plate, table reinforcement

It does not apply to:

  • a VESA adapter on its own
  • an adapter plate on its own
  • a table reinforcement on its own
  • an individual 3IDEE® ONE component, such as an arm or a rod
  • accessories such as screen cleaners or cable sleeves

If a mount is included, ‘Test for 60 days in everyday use’ applies to the entire setup. For items purchased individually, your statutory right of withdrawal and the conditions specified for the respective product apply.

When do the 60 days begin and end?

The period begins the day after receipt of the respective item. You must register your return within 60 days of receipt at the latest.

After registration, you have 14 days to dispatch the goods. The date of handover to the shipping service provider is decisive.

If you order several items that are delivered separately, the period applies to each item from the date of its receipt.

What does "testing" mean in concrete terms?

'Test it for 60 days in your everyday life' is meant for you to use the mount at your workspace — not just to look at it. Explicitly permitted are:

  • Installation at your intended workspace, on the tabletop, through a cable grommet, or on the wall
  • Attaching your monitor
  • Adjusting height, distance, and orientation
  • Repeated moving, adjusting, and realigning
  • Normal use in your daily work routine throughout the entire period

You are therefore not restricted to just a brief inspection. That is exactly where it differs from the statutory right of withdrawal.

In what condition must the goods be returned?

Normal signs of wear resulting from intended assembly, adjustment, and use during the 60 days do not exclude a return. This includes, for example, assembly marks on clamping surfaces, light scratches, or marks on the joints.

Not covered by the '60-day trial period' promise are damages caused by improper use, unauthorized modifications to the product, missing components, as well as damage that exceeds normal wear and tear.

In these cases, we will contact you before issuing a refund and inform you of the amount by which the refund will be reduced, as well as the reason.

What needs to be returned?

Only return what belongs to the item you are returning — nothing more. Whatever you keep and continue to use stays with you.

A complete setup must be returned with everything that belongs to it: mount with clamp, base or wall plate, arms, poles, VESA heads, adapter plates, screws, bolts, and any included accessories.

A single item should only be returned with the parts that belong to it. For example, if you are swapping your mount for another, you keep the adapter, adapter plate, or desk reinforcement if you continue to use them.

You select what is being returned in the returns portal. This determines what needs to be included — you don't have to figure it out yourself.

The original packaging is not required. Please pack the goods securely for transport so that nothing can shift or be damaged. If you still have the original packaging, we appreciate it — but it is not necessary.

How do you register the return?

You can register your return in our returns portal. There, you will receive your return label and all other relevant information for your delivery country.

This registration applies to our ‘60-day trial period’ promise. To exercise your statutory right of withdrawal, the terms of our cancellation policy apply independently of this; any clear statement is sufficient for this purpose, and no justification is required.

What does return shipping cost?

We charge a portion of the shipping costs for the return label we provide. This amount depends on the country of delivery and will be deducted from your refund.

EN €4
All other delivery countries €9

The deciding factor is the delivery country of your order.

What is being reimbursed?

For returns made under the '60-day trial period' promise, we will refund the purchase price of the returned goods minus the return shipping costs.

We do not refund the shipping costs of your original order for this voluntary return. If you return only part of your order and thereby fall below a threshold for free shipping, the original order remains unaffected.

If a quantity or setup discount was granted and its requirements are no longer met due to the return, we will refund the actual amount paid for the remaining items.

For a statutory right of withdrawal, only the legal regulations and our cancellation policy apply.

When will the refund be issued?

Once we have received and checked your return, we will refund the refundable amount using the same payment method you used for your purchase.

The amount of time it takes for the credit to appear in your bank or payment provider account is beyond our control.

Exchange instead of refund

In the returns portal, you can choose an exchange instead of a refund. If the new item is cheaper, we will refund the difference. If it is more expensive, you pay the difference.

Defective, damaged, or incorrectly delivered goods

If an item is defective, arrives damaged, or was delivered incorrectly, this is not a case for our ‘60-day trial period’ promise — you have your statutory rights for that, which are more favorable for you.

In such a case, please contact our Help Center with your order number and, if possible, a photo. We will resolve this for you at no return cost.

Your statutory rights remain unaffected.

The ‘60-day trial period’ promise is an additional, voluntary service provided by 3IDEE. It does not limit or replace your statutory rights.

In particular, your statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days and your statutory rights in the event of defects remain fully in effect. The respective statutory requirements and deadlines apply to them, regardless of the conditions on this page.

Any other questions about the return?

Contact the Help Center with your order number. If exchanging individual components is easier than a complete return, we will look into it with you.
